Public Values was contracted to conduct a series of consumer focus groups on behalf of the Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego. The study addressed a variety of topics including: (1) the specific attributes patients and non-patients like about their current physicians; (2) the circumstances under which consumers would consider leaving their doctor or medical group; and (3) how much value consumers place on the ability to schedule appointments, check test results, or otherwise use online resources.

Outcome

Results were used to inform marketing strategies and develop program services.
