Project Details

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) contracted with Public Values to conduct a series of focus groups with Latino residents living in the AQMD service area. The purpose of the research was to inform a Latino outreach campaign designed to increase awareness about the causes and health effects of air pollution and to promote public behaviors that improve air quality.

Outcome

Findings will be used to identify the most effective strategies for motivating Latinos to change behavior and to determine the optimal media outlets for communicating key messages.
