U.S. Department of Justice
Gauging public perceptions regarding safety and policing. As part of a Settlement Agreement between the United States Department of Justice and the City of Cleveland we were contracted to conduct a community survey. The purpose of the research was to assess the Cleveland community’s trust and confidence in the Cleveland Division of Police regarding the police overall and with respect to perceptions of racial profiling and the use of excessive force. A total of 1,400 surveys were conducted.
The survey will be conducted bi-annually to monitor improvements in community/police relations.
