Los Angeles County Fair

Project Details

To support a new marketing and outreach strategy, the Fairplex, home to the Los Angeles County Fair, contracted with Public Values to conduct a series of focus groups with non-fair goers to examine: (1) current leisure activities, (2) perceptions of the Fair, (3) events and activities that would interest fairgoers, (4) the barriers to attendance, and (5) preferred communication channels.

Outcome

Findings were used to refine marketing and public outreach strategies for promoting the Los Angeles County Fair to potential new markets outside the Pomona area.
