San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District

Project Details

Public Values contracted with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (District) to evaluate residential lawn care, residential wood combustion, and personal commuting activity levels in the San Joaquin Valley (Valley) through a survey of valley residents.  The purpose of the research was to gauge residents’ activity levels as well as to measure public awareness and understanding of the District’s programs.

Outcome

Findings will be used to provide data for estimating the emissions produced from these three sources and to gauge the effectiveness of the District’s outreach programs.
